Cookie Policy
Effective April 28, 2026 · Newwebsite Inc.
This Cookie Policy explains how Newwebsite.ai (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and service. Read alongside our Privacy Policy for the full picture of how we handle your information.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by sites you visit. They’re widely used to make sites work efficiently, remember preferences, and report on usage. We also use related technologies (local storage, session storage, and small fetch/IndexedDB caches) — for the purposes of this policy, we refer to all of them as “cookies.”
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function — sign-in sessions, CSRF tokens, save state in the editor. These can’t be turned off without breaking core functionality.
Functional
Remember preferences such as theme, last-viewed page, and editor panel layout so the experience stays consistent across visits.
Analytics
Help us understand how the Service is used so we can prioritize improvements. We aggregate this data; no analytics cookie alone identifies you.
Marketing
Used by us and our advertising partners to measure campaign effectiveness and (where you opt in) tailor content. We do not sell or rent your data; see Privacy Policy section 4.
3. Specific cookies we set
The most common cookies you’ll see from us:
- next-auth.session-token — your sign-in session. Strictly necessary. Cleared when you log out.
- nw_draft_previews — anonymous draft attribution so you can claim a draft after signing up. Strictly necessary; max 30 days.
- __cf_bm — bot-management cookie set by Cloudflare (our CDN). Strictly necessary; short-lived.
- theme — light/dark preference. Functional; persists across visits.
Third parties whose cookies you may encounter when using the Service include Stripe (payments) and our hosting/CDN providers. We don’t control those cookies; review the third party’s policy for details.
4. Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so for the “strictly necessary” category will break sign-in and editor save flows.
If we offer a cookie-consent banner in your region, you can adjust functional / analytics / marketing categories there at any time. You can also opt out of common analytics and advertising networks via YourAdChoices (US) and Your Online Choices (EU/UK).
5. Changes
We may update this policy as we add or remove cookies. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email.
6. Contact
