Privacy Policy
Effective April 28, 2026 · Newwebsite Inc.
Newwebsite.ai (“Newwebsite,” “we,” or “us”) provides an AI-assisted website builder. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about how that information is handled. By using Newwebsite.ai, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Account info. Name, email, and (if you sign in via OAuth) your provider id. Optional: profile image.
- Content. The text, images, and structure of the websites you create, including any data you paste into our chat editor.
- Billing. When you upgrade, we collect billing details through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Support communication. Anything you send us by email, in-app chat, or other support channels.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data. Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and approximate edit/save activity.
- Device data. Browser, operating system, IP address, device type, and crash logs.
- Cookies + similar. Session cookies, auth cookies, and analytics identifiers. See our Cookie Policy for details.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Newwebsite.ai service.
- Generate, edit, and host the websites you create — including sending necessary content to AI providers (e.g. Anthropic, Google) so the editor can respond.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
- Communicate with you about your account, product changes, and billing.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. AI providers and processing
Newwebsite.ai uses third-party AI APIs to generate and edit websites. When you use chat or generation features, the prompt and a minimal amount of context (e.g. the section you’re editing) are sent to the relevant provider for processing. We do not use customer prompts for our own model training, and we configure provider accounts to opt out of provider-side training where the provider supports that setting.
Current providers include Anthropic and Google.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the product (e.g. hosting, payments, email, AI APIs, analytics) under data-processing agreements.
- Affiliates within the Newwebsite corporate family, subject to this policy.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to protect rights, or to investigate abuse.
- Business transfers. If we’re acquired or merge with another company, your information may transfer with the business; we will notify users of any change of controller.
5. Data retention
We keep account info for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time; once deleted, we remove or anonymize personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records). Backups roll off on a 90-day cycle.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@newwebsite.ai. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards (TLS in transit, encryption at rest for credentials, scoped access controls, and regular review). No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Children
Newwebsite.ai is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in regions where that is the floor). We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Newwebsite is operated from the United States and our service providers may be based elsewhere. By using the service you acknowledge that your information may be processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from your own. Where required (e.g. for EU/UK users), we rely on standard contractual clauses.
10. Meta / Facebook integration
Newwebsite.ai is a registered Meta Platforms app. If you choose to connect a Facebook or Instagram account, we use Facebook Login and the Meta Graph API to fetch information about you and the Pages you administer so we can pre-populate and manage your website. This section is provided to comply with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Data we receive from Meta
- Profile basics — your Facebook user id, name, and email address (when you grant the “email” scope).
- Pages you administer — for each Page you authorize: page id, name, category, “about” text, description, phone number, contact emails, website, address, hours, cover photo, profile picture, fan count, and the linked Instagram Business Account id (if any).
- Access tokens — short-lived and long-lived user tokens, plus per-Page tokens. These are encrypted at rest and used only to make Graph API calls on your behalf.
How we use Meta data
- Pre-fill your generated website with accurate business details (hours, address, contact info, imagery).
- Let you select which Pages to associate with which sites inside your dashboard.
- Power optional features such as importing photos from a Page or syncing updates back to it (only with your explicit action in-product).
We do not sell Meta-derived data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to build profiles outside of the website-building context. We follow Meta’s Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and the data-use restrictions for the permissions you grant.
How to revoke access and delete Meta-derived data
You can disconnect Newwebsite.ai from your Facebook account at any time. Doing so removes our ability to call the Graph API on your behalf and triggers deletion of the data we fetched from Meta:
- In-product: sign in, go to Dashboard → Integrations, and click “Disconnect” on the Facebook tile. Your stored access tokens are immediately invalidated and the associated Page metadata is queued for deletion within 30 days.
- From Facebook: open facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites, find “Newwebsite.ai,” and choose “Remove.” Meta will revoke our tokens; we detect the next failed Graph call and finish cleaning up on our side.
- By email: if you can’t access either interface, send a deletion request to privacy@newwebsite.ai with the Facebook user id or email associated with the connection. We process requests within 30 days and confirm completion in writing.
Deletion removes: your Facebook user id, name, and email; all Page metadata fetched from Graph; cached cover and profile imagery; and all stored access tokens. Audit records of the connection event itself are retained in tamper-evident logs for up to 12 months for security and fraud-investigation purposes, then purged.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
